About Rick Lum
Born in Sydney Australia – Rick has always been a talented artist, having discovered a natural talent and passion for his art from a very young age. After finishing high school Rick enrolled at the National Art School in East Sydney. During this period he also learnt to play guitar and eventually became a full time musician with Hush, one of Australia’s top legendary Rock bands in the seventies. Rick also had the opportunity to utilise his creative skills to do all the bands artwork and stage set designs. A few years later when the group disbanded Rick went back to art school to study Graphic Design. Rick graduated and then worked in Advertising as an Art Director and designer. Rick now has his own business and finds a happy balance devoting his time between music, design, painting and caricatures.
